Art Show Openings this week

100 works from nationally known artist will be on display Nov 7th – Dec 31. The Grand opening will be Thursday, Nov 7th, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, with the awards ceremony at 7:30
North and South Med by K Henderson
‘Felix Paints En Plein Air’ and ‘Bonzo Paints in the Studio’ are  available at the North and South Show  at Robert Lange Gallery in Charleston, SC. 35 artists were invited to participate in this show. Each artist created 2 paintings representing their version of North and South.

Hubbard Museum Biennale Grande

Two of my paintings have been accepted into the 2nd Biennale Grande at the Hubbard Museum of the American West.
The 2nd Biennale Grande is a juried fine art competition that seeks to recognize and honor excellence in the contemporary visual arts of the American West. The art with be on display April 4th to July 15th, 2012 at The Hubbard Museum of the American West, 26301 Hwy 70 West,Ruidoso Downs, NM.

Sacred Dreams – Heart of the West

This Plains Indian wears a headdress of feathers, bells, trade cloth, ermine tails and beads. His face is painted blue which is a sacred color in some tribes.
